I'm Bhoopalan Ilayalwar. The founder of a tiny game dev studio, 'Sakasa Games'. Our team consists of one permanent member (me obviously), and two amazing freelancers for music and graphics. I would be grateful if you can review our first iPhone game app "Tap And Roll".

Description:

The game is all about Mr Roller who keeps rolling non stop. His objective is to catch the objects that rolls (referred as coins) and avoid objects that move.

How do you make the Roller move from one place to another? That's the unique game mechanism. When he's facing in direction towards a coin, tap anywhere on the screen and the roller will swing himself towards the coin and start rolling again. Caution:
Never go completely off the screen. You may die.
Never hit the obstacles. You will die.
The more you tap, the faster Mr Roller will be rolling. So keep your number of taps to a minimum.

Powerups:
Tapping obviously costs you fuel. So catch two or more coins in a single sweep to get bonus points and hearts.
Use the hearts to continue the game when you die.

USP:

As mentioned above, the way that the Roller moves is a unique mechanism not seen in any other games. We believe this will make players addictive. But we also know that it could be hard to understand from beta test reviews.
