Bored Ogre is a game of “makeshift” indoor golf, where a giant bored ogre uses the knights he captured to keep himself entertained. Ogre will use spoons as golf-clubs to launch ragdoll knights in makeshift courses around his castle. Each “hole” has many possible scoring options and online leaderboards to compete on.
While “golf” mode is single player, game comes with other 2 game modes, Darts and Toss, both are swipe based and supporting up to 4 players on same device. Toss mode is inspired by the great Paper Toss and it will see the player tossing ragdoll knights in a bowl full of water to feed the ogre pet shark, while Darts mode comes with various different challenging dartboards.
While the theme might suggest otherwise, game tries to be as kid friendly as possible, with no gore and a generally comic feel.
Bored Ogre is free with a lot of content free of charge, game launched with 2 in-app purchases, one to remove advertisements (banner and decently rare videos) and another one to unlock 2 additional “golf courses”.
