Glaze is an award-winning*  painting software that faithfully replicates the oil painting process. The user discovers the optical mixing of colors, the physical properties of painting tools, and - like a painter in the studio - the absence of an "undo" option.

16 Historical Pigments: Explore the authentic physical properties of 16 meticulously reproduced oil pigments.
Realistic Brushes: Choose from 6 finely tuned brushes, including sable and hog bristle types, each with over 80 parameters like bristle length and flexibility.
Canvas Selection: Work on two types of canvas, each with unique characteristics like texture, light reflection, and paint absorption.
True Optical Color Mixing: Experience color blending through a proprietary algorithm that simulates real-world paint mixing.
Paint Behavior: Experiment with paint properties that change based on layer conditions—wet or dry, thick or thin.
Chalk: Use chalk for sketching and interact with wet paint in unconventional ways
Rag: use a rag to modify or remove paint while it's still wet.
