Description

Are you one of the millions of people who text themselves important notes?
Does it take you more than 5 seconds to record what you want to write?
Do you embarrassingly fumble to open up your note app?
Well you have found the fastest, easiest, most organized note taking app!

By entering one of the A,B,C’s before writing your note, your note will know exactly where to go.
For example:
-You want to quickly add bananas to your shopping list, you type “b(space) bananas”. Bananas have now joined the rest of the items in your shopping list.
-Want to remember to call Mike? Enter “c(space) Mike”. Mike is now in your “to call” list.
-Need to quickly write down a number/address? Type “n(space) 123… and the number goes into your number list.

3 Ways to enter your note into the Jot blue App:
1) Text yourself. Yes! Send your own number the note and it will automatically go into the Jot blue app. Example: Text yourself “f garage door” and hit send.
2) Enter your note into the widget. If you are entering one of the most common entries (Buy, Call, Number, List, ToDo), then you enter note into widget and hit one of the five. Example: Type “Bananas”, click “BUY” and hit the enter symbol.
3) Enter your note straight into the Jot Blue App.

All of the above methods will automatically send your note to the main App.
Additional options currently available: Edit, Copy, Delete, Share, Export and Feedback.

FAQ

Sometimes I am such a rush I can’t think of which folder to send my note to. Could I just enter it without any Prefix? Yes. Any note entered without a prefix will go into the All list. The “All” list is the first list in the main App (Before the “A” list).
Please note, entering a note without a prefix while having a totally blank note in the “All” list, will crash the App. We are working to fix that.

Why when I send myself a text do I immediately see the text I just sent appear in my inbox?
Seeing your text in your inbox is a good sign. That means that your text went through and it went into the designated folder. Receiving the message shortly after sending it is like a confirmation.

I don't use the default texting App that came pre-installed with my phone. I use a third party one that I downloaded. Will texts sent from that App go straight into the JotBlue App?

No. You must use the default App that comes pre-installed on your phone.

I don't have an unlimited texting plan or I get charged per text. If I send myself a text, will I be charged for it? Yes. Unless you know that your phone carrier doesn't charge for texts that you send yourself, assume that they do charge. Entries made into the widget or directly using the app, will not be considered texts (in regards to being charged a fee).

Could I send multiple notes via the share link? No.

Could I copy or delete multiple notes at a time? Yes.

In would like to change one of the letters to mean something else, for example I want to change Diary to Dog. Could I do that? In this version, No. In the next version, Yes. Of course you may use the "d" folder for whatever you want, you are just unable to change the app from displaying diary. So if you want to remember things about your dog, go ahead, type in "d circus lessons Monday @ 5". You will be able to view all your "d" entries under the diary folder.

I would like to put a time stamp on the my diary entries, could I do that? In this version - no. In next - yes.

Do you have plans to make JotBlue for other platforms such an iOS, blackberry or windows?

Yes. We are currently working on a iOS App that would be similar, but not as flexible as the Android version. As far as the other platforms, it is definitely in our plans.
