Hello, I am writing to you today to introduce you to a game that I programmed for iPhone and released 2 months ago and updated yesterday. The game is Supernatural Slayer and is available for free on the App Store. 

Supernatural Slayer is an adventure/RPG that allows the creation of a character with 6 ability scores that allow bonuses and penalties to character actions who joins the Order of Supernatural Slayers. In the beginning there is a quest board that allows a pretty linear progression of quests (battling goblins, trolls, werewolves, vampires and more) to get the player comfortable with how the game works, but as you progress more freedom is allowed. In the second area of the game you can even learn how to cast spells by drawing symbols on the screen and in the 3rd area you draw symbols for an entirely different purpose altogether. You can also collect gold that allows you to buy weapons, armor, potions, rings and amulets to help with slaying creatures. Experience is gained from winning battles that allows you to level up and become more powerful. Game Center is integrated into the game to allow for a leader board and achievements.

I am a one man team indie game designer that just started learning the Swift programming language 9 months ago and this is my first game. I don't really have an educational background in programming except for a couple high school classes (my Bachelors degree is in Engineering) but I have loved to program since I was young when my father bought our family our first Apple computer. I started learning Swift this past January as I thought it would be valuable to be able to produce apps for my family to use if we needed something that we couldn't find in the app store. My first daughter is 2 years old and my second daughter is due at the end of this month so I wanted to be able to program apps that would be interesting to them or help them in school when the time comes. Supernatural Slayer was a fun way for me to learn how to do that.
